CCI Global becomes Kenya’s largest call center, promising to help invigorate the nation’s economy by creating over 5,000 new job opportunities in the short term.
CCI Global, an Africa-based business outsourcing firm, recently opened a $50 million call center at Tatu City in Ruiru, Kiambu County, Kenya.
Housed in a five-storey building in the 5,000-acre Special Economic Zone (SEZ), the facility is now Kenya’s largest call center with a capacity to create over 5,000 new job opportunities into the market in the short term.
The Tatu City call center is part of CCI Global’s broader $150 million investment in Kenya since 2016, with its total investment across Africa exceeding $2 billion. The facility, noted for its environmental sustainability, operates primarily on renewable energy and has received multiple awards for its green initiatives.
At the commissioning of the CCI Tatu City Call Centre by His Excellency, the President of Kenya, Dr William Ruto, CCI Global also announced that plans are underway to set up a second building at the same Special Economic Zone (SEZ), doubling its call center workforce in the country to 10,000 in different roles.
