A total of 15 Nigerian-based startups have been listed as finalists of the second edition of Pitch2Win competition with up to $10,000 monetary price as well as the opportunity to visit Japan.
Organized by Techcircle in partnership with Freakout, SGverse, and SGgrow. The second season of this event is scheduled for June 12 where ten selected startups will be provided the opportunity to present their ideas to some prominent investors and business tycoons.
The selected startups will compete for a 10,000 USD equity-free grant, and a trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, Japan’s biggest crypto event, providing participants with crucial connections and an outlook on emerging market trends.
The selected ventures are 10mg Pharma, an e-health platform, Acceede, offering school payment services, Apisentry providing API security solutions, Beezop specializing in employee management, and Bunce, a customer engagement service.
Joining them are Edusko, an ed-tech startup, Eight Medical, another e-health platform, Fullgap offering business management tools, Mida Africa providing AI-powered ethical debt collection services, Pave HQ, a digital learning platform, Preggify, offering pregnancy care services, Regxta facilitating financial inclusion, Sendstack providing business management solutions, Sync! specializing in team management, and Trade Lenda, a credit provider.
Regarding the objective of Pitch2Win, OO Nwoye, the founder of TechCircle, noted that it was designed to solve not only the problems of funding and mentorship but also to provide tools for support of startups with the focus on those companies that offer solutions to businesses that have the level of technological development for the African continent.
“Pitch2Win aims to not only address the funding and mentorship gaps but also empower startups whose innovative business solutions have the potential to shape the future of technology in Africa,” he said.
